A trip back to the city I\'ve always loved In my early 20s, I was a young, poor and starving student in this beautiful city. In later years, I had a small office in Paris and traveled there several times a month for work. Now, 22 years later, I returned to see Paris again. We both have aged, but she\'s remained as beautiful as she always was and is. (14 Fotos) |

Images from the Outer Banks of North Carolina The Outer Banks of North Carolina are a very narrow strip of land--attached to the mainland only at the top--that extend along the Carolina shorelines. Entering the Outer Banks and heading North on Route 12 towards the villages of Duck, Corrola, Whalehead, etc., the Outer Banks are flanked by a sound to their left, and by the Atlantic Ocean on the right. What attracts me to this location almost every year, besides my love for the sea and the Bohemian-like coastal/maritime living style, are the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that offer some of the most breathtaking views for every photography enthusiast. An evening at the National Harbor Nationa Harbor is a new business community and recreational area in Maryland and across the Wilson Bridge from Alexandria on the Potomac River. I had no idea that the sunsets are quite spectacular there, until I saw it during this visit. None of these photos have been edited, the colors you see are the real colors. (10 Fotos) |

The 2009 Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise in Detroit, Michigan On the third weekend in August, a 3-day parade of more than 20,000 vantage cars--mingled in with some of the latest models too--parade the Woodward Avenue in Greater Detroit. This year, I opted for a minimalistic photo presentation and hope you\'ll like them (16 Fotos) |

Early morning impressions captured with an iPhone Everytime I travel to Maui, I look forward to my daily 10-mile morning walks from Kihei to Wailea along the shoreline, starting at 4:45 a.m. and taking about 3 hours to complete. The daybreak on Maui is truly one of the most spectacular encounters in all my travels and I usually take a camera along on my walks. This time, however, I left my camera at the penthouse a few mornings and used my iPhone instead to capture some of the impressions. I hope you will enjoy viewing these images as much as I enjoyed being there. Thanks for stopping by. (26 Fotos) |
